I know this story has been spread around the web for about a couple of weeks, while I was traveling in Europe. But I want to add Tripso to the chorus. This story is a wonderful “Don’t get mad, get even” story about damaged luggage. In the end United got what it deserved, continuing bad publicity and they paid anyway.
The musicians went through all the proper channels before striking out on the route to revenge. Dave Carroll told the last person to deny his claim, Ms. Irlweg, that he “would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world.” I can’t wait for the next ones.
Plus, the musicians, the Sons of Maxwell, have managed to get plenty of good publicity for themselves and offers of free flights from WestJet, a Canadian airline. Plus, Taylor Guitars gave Dave Carroll a new guitar. Revenge can sometimes be sweet.
Here is their first YouTube video of United Break Guitars that as we post has more than 3.5 million views, and growing.
