America’s spectacular fall leaf and color show

Though it is heretical to say in New England, that foliage even exists anywhere else in the country, it does with colorful abandon. From the shimmering silvers of the Rocky Mountain aspens to the yellows of midwestern oaks and the deep red of sugar maples covering New England’s hillsides, October is the month when fall foliage is most brilliant.

This is the time to hop in your car, take a balloon ride, paddle a canoe, ride a bike, motorboat, sail, fly or go hiking to enjoy one of the most spectacular color and light shows available to man. Best of all, it’s free. Just take the time to observe this special time when nature begins to prepare for its long winter nap.
