This weekend we take a look at Alec Baldwin apologizing to himself for his AA shenanigans on Saturday Night Live, a Frenchman invents a way to swim like a dolphin and Finnair flight attendants surprise us with a a flashdance in their crew lounge.

Alec Baldwin apologizes to himself when AA refuses to
Last week, Alec Baldwin, in a fit of self-importance refused to power down his electronic device when asked to by the flight attendant. He, evidently, then threw a hissy fit, stormed into the bathroom and slammed the door. His actions, resulted in him being escorted from the American Airlines aircraft.

The “30 Rock” actor, dressed as the mustachioed Captain Steve Rogers, used the opportunity to issue an apology – to himself.
“It was awful Seth,” he drawled to “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers of the plane incident. “Which is why it was important for me to come tonight here and, on behalf of everyone at American Airlines, issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin!”
“Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure, and I am ashamed at the way he was treated,” he added.
Baldwin, as Capt. Rogers, also told Meyers that “Words with Friends” is a game for smart people and scoffed at the rules about not using electronic devices on airplanes.

Obviously, this interruption of Mr. Baldwin’s word game for intelligent people did not sit well for this “American treasure.” He managed to find a way to twist the knife a bit on last week’s Saturday Night Live.
Now, AA flight attendants are looking at banning his 30 Rock show from the AA inflight video programs. But, that may not be as easy as booting the “American Treasure” off the plane.

Apparently NBC decides which of their shows are offered on which AA flights, so there is little that the attendants can do except make their displeasure known. And that, they have done.
