Hong Kong International Airport has again been named the World’s Best Airport. It won the award last year and won for the seventh time in 10 years.
Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax Research, who conducted the survey, noted that “Hong Kong was particularly notable for gaining highest satisfaction ratings in such a diverse market.”
Munich was named best European airport and San Francisco was named best airport in North America. Tel Aviv was named best Middle Eastern airport and Cape Town was named best airport in Africa.
The top 10 worldwide best are as follows:

2. Singapore Changi
3. Seoul Incheon
4. Kuala Lumpur KLIA
5. Munich
6. Kansai
7. Copenhagen
8. Zurich
9. Helsinki
10. Cape Town
Skytrax surveyed passengers worldwide in 39 categories related to product and service qualities ranging from check-in to airport amenities.
