Malaysian military: Missing jet changed course
The mystery as to what happened to MH 370 continues to grow, including the question as to why the plane turned back.
But local newspaper Berita Harian quoted Malaysia’s air force chief, Gen. Rodzali Daud, as saying that radar at a military base had tracked the jet as it changed its course, with the final signal at 2:40 a.m. showing the plane to be near Pulau Perak at the northern approach to the Strait of Malacca, a busy waterway that separates the western coast of Malaysia and Indonesia’s Sumatra island. It was flying slightly lower, at around 29,528 feet, he said.
American, JetBlue end frequent flyer partnership, interline agreement
American Airlines and JetBlue airlines announced that they will end their partnership that had been in place since 2010.
As of Monday, March 10, passengers can no longer purchase tickets through one airline for travel on the other. In addition, beginning April 1, members of the airlines’ frequent flyer programs will no longer be able to earn and redeem miles and points when traveling with the other.
