When hotels have wireless routers in the room, there’s no trouble. But when the hotel “conveniently” provides an ethernet cable, the problems for creating hookup for two computers require a bit of creativity.

This is our current solution: a router to split the ethernet cable output to two computers, plus a surcharge protector. No, wait, it’s a surge protector, and the usual extension cords that allow us to work at the table.
