Flight attendants for the Spanish low-cost carrier, Air Comet, have just published a calendar with the airline flight attendants in risque poses. They claim that that Air Comet’s owners owe them nine months of back pay.
Here is the complete calendar. Really, I only looked to figure out what day the 15th of April fell on this year. On the other hand, this is the first life vest demo I have ever really studied.
The flight attendants are involved in generating publicity about the 600 cabin crew members’ nine months of lost wages. They say that the nude calendar is an effort to raise funds for their legal battle against Air Comet.
The airline went bankrupt late last year after a British judge grounded and impounded nine of the airline’s planes for non-payment of leases and loans. German bankers were evidently not as compliant as the flight attendants about not getting paid.
Last February, Air Comet flight attendant conducted an interview while stark naked to vent her anger at the company’s president. This is definitely a different approach to a pay cut than that followed by British Airways flight attendants over the past two weeks.
