May we be the first to call you President Obama?

California-based KSL resorts isn’t exactly known as a political pollster. But that isn’t stopping it from predicting the outcome of November’s presidential election. It’s calling the race for Barack Obama.

The hotel chain based its forecast on how many themed packages it has sold.

The Obama Supporters Vacation Package consists of:

Complimentary “Blue Martini’s” for two (or other signature cocktail)

“Buy American” $25 Resort credit for purchases in KSL’s retail shops

“Green” golf or recreation discount (including spa discount) of $25

The McCain Supporters Vacation Package consists of:

Complimentary bottle of “Red State” wine on arrival

Room Tax Cut (We pay your room tax* for you, up to $25)

“Family Values” complimentary kids club admission, or children’s amenity

Prices vary by resort and they range from $224 per night for two nights to $650 per night, excluding taxes and fees. Packages are available through Election Day.

Out of 38 packages booked so far, 27 Obama packages have been purchased and 11 McCain packages have been purchased.
