According to Hitwise, travel is slowly rebounding. The graph at the top of this story shows how travel sites are rebounding from a slow winter. Much of the rebound is undoubtedly because of season factors, but overall the trend is up and that is good for the travel industry.
Within the Hitwise Report specific sites such as amusement parks and water parks have seen some of the greatest increases in visits. That action is definitely based on seasonal factors and would be increasing in any case.
On the other hand some sites such as the Massachusetts Tourism site has seen some of the best viewership in years. That increase must be due to improvements in the website itself and associated advertising.
